In a defense dominated game that lasted all of 48 minutes, the Munster League Champions defeated the Leinster League Champions 5-0.  Following a round-robin between those two teams and the Smokin' Aces from Ulster, the team from the North had to settle for a spectator role for the final.

Oddsox Green will be disappointed, given how well they had played throughout the season to only lose two games in the League and win their first ever Premier Division Title.  Ori-ginals however, despite playing a very short League season this year, the first in Munster Softball's short history, will march on to Bulgaria next year with renewed confidence after beating the Champions of the softball powerhouse that is Leinster.

Softball Ireland have, in the National Club Championship Playoffs, created an event with potential.  Hopefully next year the organisation behind this will be clearer, more defined and better publicised.  And to the Ori-ginals, everyone at BatPak wishes you luck next year in the ECCS.  After our experience in Slovenia this summer, we know that you will enjoy the tournament.
